Nice selection of everything you’ll need to go outdoors. This location is a little difficult to get to because of the road construction on 1960. Employees were helpful. Nice store!

Academy can not explain to me, why my address and payment is blocked on the online website! When I called customer support they said it was my financial institution,but Chase states otherwise.

So, I used my boyfriend's email and address and the same items that Academy cancelled and blocked my account are still in stock.

Academy policy's has no form of racism, discrimination or color or even the refusal of any person or Race, so why can't Academy explain why my email and address is blocked!?

I've reached out to a lawyer and I will be seeking a discrimination case for being a black female , discrimination and racism. I have the Burden of Proof!

Terrible customer service. VERY VERY disorganized shoe department. Ordered some boots and they gave me a box with mismatched boots and when they went to go look for the pair, they couldn’t find either one. I was told to go look for some boots I liked and took me 30 minutes to find some I liked after having to sort through all the boxes in the floors and shelves to have to find a matching pair. Once I went back to the desk, I was told I needed to pay more. I explained I had to drive across town to the boots they did t even have. Then had to sort through their mess at the shoe department and the manager had the nerve to say that this happens all the time. That’s just unacceptable. They need to go through some training or maybe a stronger manager with better leadership skills. The store is a reflection of the person in charge. Not good at all. First and last time at this location. The other locations I go to have been great and organized. Customer service is yet to reply to my email. I’ll update on that once I get a response.

Review: Bad Experience at the Store
I would like to share my negative experience during my visit to your store. Upon arriving at the store to shop, I was prevented from entering by a person at the door. Although I was a customer there to shop, this person stopped me and asked, "How can I help you, sir?" in an inappropriate manner and did not allow me to enter. I left the store Very upset Luckily I didn't take my kids with me.
I felt that the treatment was disrespectful and unjustified, especially since I had not requested any assistance and there was no reason to deny me entry. I hope this issue is taken seriously to ensure it doesn't happen to other customers.

I went here to price workout equipment and pic up some protein powder. The guy at the front do was polite and they did have the protein I wanted for the cheapest price in the city and online.

Bad customer service.

The first time they forgot the plastic tag in the shoes, we returned to remove it.. then again we figured out each shoe is different size, we returned to correct the size.. we paid 4 times for toll and each way drive was 45 minutes. Our weekend plans was ruined ?

Came in to buy seasonings and brines shown to be on sale at entrance of store. Upon Check out items were in fact not discounted but full price.

After a short discussion academy placed those items on the same display but In fact not discounted.

The line was out to the racks, it's only 8 pm. Not sure why there are only two slow cashiers. You would think thy would get someone else to help.
