My daughters and I have been home from our trip out west for three weeks and are still talking about the Death Valley Wellness Sanctuary. Heather was our masseuse and is the most caring therapist I have encountered in the many years I’ve enjoyed massages. One of my daughters had never had a massage before and Heather listened and made her feel at ease. In addition to her skills as a massage therapist (which are amazing!), Heather’s other greatest skill is listening to her client. I left the DV Wellness Sanctuary feeling no pain in my problem areas (neck and arm) while also feeling rested mentally. My mind, body, and spirit are better because of my massage. Thank you, Heather! We wish we lived closer!

Although tough to find in the Inn, getting lost was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We went four our 14th anniversary, and it was actually very nice to have no reception and disappear for a couple hours. Than you have the amazing Heather who really helped us relax and helped with my husbands neuropathy! Definitely recommend!!! 10 stars if I could!!!

Penne was a wonderful massage therapist! She gave the best 2 hour deep tissue massage. I got to float in the pool while my husband got his massage. They provided water and snacks and a cute sitting area along the pool. It is such a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Heather is amazing! She she would touch a place that hurts and her hand would be on the exact spot of my pain. She has don’t this throughout the massage. It’s amazing how she can tell where my pain originates from. I was suffering from lack of sleep due to being in pain all the time. Heather after only one massage I was able to sleep well. I had 5 seriously bad areas before the massage with Heather. After only two are still problems but the pain from these areas are significantly better! Thank you Heather for your truly healing hands. Plans to make another appointment as soon as I can.

The Wellness Sanctuary lives up to its name and in my opinion is worthy of 7 stars not just the maximum 5 !

During my birthday trip I got to experience a full day with Heather, the owner and designer of The Wellness Sanctuary together with her husband.

The first thing Heather told me when we met was,
“I’ve been so excited to spend this special day with you and have been praying for you the last 3 days.”
I was a bit taken aback and asked her, “Did you know I’ve been very
ill ?” And she answered “No”.

This golden healing drenched day took place almost 2 months ago.

I am a massage and spa connoisseur and have been privileged to travel the world.
Never have I experienced anything like this.
Usually a spa experience is wonderful in the moment and if I am lucky it lingers for a few days.

The results of this spa experience appear to have been permanent.

We drove by car to Death Valley and we traveled for 2 days to get to The Oasis. Travel is not easy for me as I’ve cumulatively suffered from 5 herniated discs and am treated weekly by my doctor.

After my treatments from Heather I could feel my body slowly strengthening.

This is why it did not come as a surprise to hear from my doctor that my back was actually stronger since my trip ( in spite of 4 days of car travel).

Later on I had a regularly scheduled appointment with my Tragerist .
I have been receiving Trager massage from her for almost 50 years now. I did not mention my experience with Heather at her spa.
At the close of my Trager session,
my Tragerist informed me that my spirit was more fully present in each of my body’s cells than ever before.
This was fascinating to hear and did indeed reflect what I’d been feeling since my treatments with Heather.
Suffering and fear can contract your spirit and I’ve been dealing with LONG COVID for more than 4 years now, having to stop the work that I loved and living the life of an invalid.
Heather’s treatments expanded me and deepened the healing I’ve been seeking quite desperately all these years.

The results feel permanent.

On a more superficial level, my husband marveled at how soft my skin was for several weeks after Heather’s treatments.

If you just seek a relaxing day at the spa you will surely receive it at Heather’s Wellness Sanctuary.
It’s also entirely possible that if you have deeper needs as I did, that they will be met on her table as well.

This was such an amazing experience! I have gotten a lot of massages at different spas and have had nothing close to the experience I had at the Wellness Sanctuary at Death Valley. I booked the Aloe Sol treatment for my boyfriend and I (it was his first spa treatment and massage ever) and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was truly so relaxing and the perfect treatment after being in the desert sun. I highly recommend Heather and her team they are truly wonderful!

We had a wonderful mother/daughter afternoon booked with Heather and Ashley for a 4 hr series of treatments. The foot soak, beam blanket/oxygen bar with aromatherapy oils, a full body scrub, Shea butter wrap, mini facial and 80 min hot stone massages. It was absolutely wonderful. So relaxing and different experiencing all these wonderful combinations. Ashley and Heather really took the time to pamper us and it was just amazing. The setting of the spa at the Inn at Death Valley is so peaceful and relaxing as well, which enhances the experience. It’s a beautiful setting!
