This was the best experience! Private room with shower, plenty of clean towels, shower gel, shampoo, and even lotion for after.

The pod is really nice and spacious. Music is offered. Figured out the light switch too (use the heel of your hand) for a perfect hour-long float!

Absolutely loved this place! I was in Florida on vacation and after much searching, I found this place. The young ladies at the front desk were so accommodating and so nice. I had to reschedule not once but twice and they were more than happy to help me! I got a massage at first and my Massage Therapist was absolutely fantastic!!! I was so pleased with my first visit that I wanted to go back before vacation was up so I got acupuncture and then I did the float tank and I promise you next time I am in that area I will be going back. The staff is amazing. My acupuncturist was amazing. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and so genuine and so kind! Was one of my favorite parts about that particular vacation. I highly recommend them!!!!!

The most amazing experiences float tank is so relaxing. IV therapy was also so much better than I’d imagine. Megan has been absolutely fantastic answering all of my questions being new to some of these things. They offer a full spa. You need to check this place out!!

EDIT: Bellamy the office manager gave me a call to rectify the situation and she was very nice. We had a great conversation about the situation and how they wanted to make it right for me. I will be going back to give them another shot!

I want to start by saying Daniel was a good MT. If I were going to come back I would see him again. Unfortunately my service was cut a decent amount due to the clock being broken. I am easy-going and would not be leaving this review if the front desk actually did anything to resolve the issue. I have worked in the spa industry for over 6 years and never would I let a customer leave with my experience. When I first got out of the service both the gal at the front and Daniel acknowledged the fact that my service was significantly cut (my friend finished after 1pm and I was out and dressed by 12:35 :/) and if I didn't specifically ask the front desk would have charged me full price for the service. The insignificant 10% was a poor resolution. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here and I certainly will not be back. A 35 minute massage is not worth $135 and I felt pressured to tip since Daniel was hanging around the front desk. It was a bad experience.

I recently experienced my first float session at South Tampa Wellness Spa, and it was a wonderful surprise from my wife while visiting Tampa from Washington, D.C. I initially came to Florida for self-care and family time, but after navigating some heavy emotions, this session turned out to be exactly what I needed.

Naya, who assisted me, was absolutely phenomenal—kind, attentive, and professional. She’s managing the space entirely on her own while serving multiple clients, and she’s doing an incredible job, especially considering she’s only been there for three weeks. Her care and dedication really enhanced my overall experience.

The float itself was transformative. The meditative environment and the detoxifying effects of the salt left me feeling lighter and more at peace. It was a truly healing experience that I’d recommend to anyone seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

While the space was clean enough, I’d say a little more attention to detail in cleanliness and the arrangement of items (like towel placement closer to the tank) would enhance the experience further. That said, I feel these are minor areas for growth, possibly reflecting the early stages of the business. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, knowing this place has incredible potential to blossom further.

I’m giving five stars for the exceptional service and transformative experience I had. It’s clear that Naya and the team care deeply about creating a positive space for their clients, and I look forward to seeing South Tampa Wellness Spa thrive even more.

The Sensory Deprivation Tank was absolutely surreal! It was my first time so I was a little nervous but mostly excited. The atmosphere is immediately calming from the moment you enter. The actual tank experience exceeded my expectations and I felt a weight lifted at the end. I just felt light and airy. However, next time I'll be sure not to get any water in my eyes and go the full time without music. Can't wait!

My husband and I both did a massage and float combo and loveddd it. Could not recommend enough! Best massage I’ve had (I’ve been getting massages professionally for years) and the float tank was so amazing. I feel totally renewed. The facility is super clean and the staff is very accommodating and friendly! Do yourself a favor and book an appt.

Had a wonderful float tank session which was calm and relaxing. The spa had a tranquil vibe and the staff was warm and welcoming. I haven’t tried all of their services, but I highly recommend the sensory deprivation float tank. They provide you with shampoo and conditioner and a shower in the room. The only thing is you can’t have dyed your hair in at least two weeks before the float so keep that in mind. No lotions or oils on the skin either. The tank is huge and the water is the perfect temperature and I wasn’t claustrophobic even with the tank completely closed. Highly recommended if you’re looking to relax.
