I just finished a 6 day stay at Talkin' Tackle with my buddy that traveled all the way from North Idaho for it. We both had an amazing time! Dillon and Tanner and Greg did everything they could do and bent over backwards to help us have the best trip possible.
The room was very neat and clean and had all of the amenities you'd ever need. I was able to park my boat in the garage or under the carport the entire time I wasn't using it and no matter where it was parked there was a power cord available to plug it in to charge. The location was perfect. Only about a 5 minute drive to a top notch no-fee boat launch.
We spent one of the days on a guided fishing trip with Dillon and consistently caught quality fish throughout the day. He took his time and answered any and all questions we had about the fishing as well as the equipment on the boat. He openly shared his expertise and made it a great learning experience!
Greg and Tanner offered up tons of tips and info throughout our stay. It was obvious they were really trying to help and not just wanting to sell tackle.
We'll definitely be back in the future and we're looking forward to it!

Great place to stay! The rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The convenience to the lake, the tackle shop, and fishing knowledge is great! Boat storage is very easy to access. If you're looking for a great place to stay around Lake Chickamauga this is the place to go!

Great bunch of guys at Talkin' Tackle. They are all incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond for their customers. From showing me which baits to throw and how to fish them, to even sharing which lakes and spots I should fish, I am incredibly grateful for the Talkin' Tackle team. They have the best selection of baits at the best prices. You should really go check them out!

Very clean and well stocked. Stayed several times. Wonderful people!! The place to stay if you love to fish the area. Close to the lake and great places to eat close by. Dillon and his family make you feel right at home. Go at least once a year and hopefully again this fall. Highly recommend the lodge!!!

Great staff, very polite and helpful. Me and my boyfriend drive from the Hamilton Place area to Talkin Tackle to get our live minnows for bait! Definitely recommend visiting Talkin Tackle!

Another great stay here. I have been here several times and it is one of my favorite places to go. Great people working there. Beds are comfortable and very clean. Pillows are great. The coffee in the morning is ready to go. Large covered area to park my boat in is wonderful. No worries about things coming up missing in the morning. Safe place to stay.

Totally 5 stars across the board. We were there with our dogs for a couple nights. Clean, safe rooms and the guy the guy that runs it is super nice.
