My dive instructor, Robert, was simply amazing! He was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I felt prepared to dive in deep water because of all the preparation we did in the pool. He made learning fun and exciting. I can't say enough good things! He also went out of his way, above and beyond, to make sure each student had what they needed to be successful. I try to support small businesses as much as possible. I’m a certified diver, but I'm a little rusty as it has been a while since the last time I've gone out. I sought guidance, knowledge, and advice. Also, I went in to possibly spend money more importantly. I don’t know if it was the owner or the employee, but it was the worst experience. The individual did not want to help out at all. If you’re passionate about diving and this is your business or hobby, why would you alienate customers coming to you? It makes absolutely zero sense. Also, congrats on owning a pair of $600 fins; it wasn’t the flex you thought it was. I'm not sure why it was necessary to tell me, but it was funny. After this, I will research and buy online instead of locally, as I tried to do. The only positive aspect of this interaction was the cute, friendly dog who greeted me when I first walked in.

Been here three times. My first visit I was met by the owner and he was quite rude. I dont know if his rudeness was intentional or if it was just his personality but he was very condescending and again very rude. I ended up renting a tank from them and again he was rude during the process. Not very helpful either. I ended up needing a hydro and visual inspection of my tank and I was busy traveling when the tank was completed so they kept it for a month and didn't bother me about picking it up which was nice. He also gave good dive recommendations in the area. Again it could just be his personality which is why I'm not giving a 1 star review but I hope to see a more friendly person behind the counter next time I'm in and better customer service.

As an experienced diver I love Steve’s shop! They have great knowledgeable staff providing dive instruction. And they continue to teach me more even when we’re just diving together on trips. I trust their recommendations when regularly servicing my gear and tanks. I also really appreciate that the shop has a great selection of quality dive products when I’ve upgraded my old gear! I’ve had friends have negative experiences at other shops in the Atlanta area, but have not been disappointed when switching shops and coming here!

After reading some of the negative reviews I think some of these people must have gone to a different shop! My wife and I moved from the mecca of Diving in Florida to the Cumming area. We looked at several dive shops and this one stood out by far. Prices are better than other local shops. The owner is very knowledgeable and has a clear passion for diving and teaching divers new skills. I would 100% trust my life in his hands! We participated in a new drive class called "divers Survival" and even after over 250 dives I learned more advanced skills. Thank you Steve (owner) for creating such a great shop and resource for divers. I only wish some of the other people with negative comments could understand that many other shops don't even compare.
